In Microsoft will stop to support Windows 7. And it will happen soon.

In order not to put the user’s work at risk, the company recommends upgrading to Windows 10.

The site of the corporation has information that ahter one year, from January 14, 2020, the company will stop supporting and issuing security updates for the Windows 7.
After this date, all subsequent system updates will occur only on a fee basis. It is noted that without patches and security updates coming out as part of the extended support for Windows 7, the system will not stop working, but will become less protected.

    • I think it remains to be seen if Microsoft sticks with this schedule. There are still so many Windows 7 machines out there and many businesses don’t want Windows 10. We have seen before that Microsoft was forced to offer security updates after the official support ended.
