But how can I drag the application from my laptop? Yes, I see a desktop without icons and a taskbar on my external display.

Hi all,
I have an external display and I have successfully connected with my laptop. I want to display the output of an application(which is providing me live streaming and I want to monitor it) on an external monitor and I want to do normal browsing on my laptop.
I know, Windows 10 provide me following projecting types,
1. PC screen only
2. Duplicate
3. Extend
4. Second screen only
How this is possible? Please help me.

Hi all,
I am connecting my PC Dell Optiplex 780 desktop with large TCL LCD using HDMI but I’m getting the following error:
“Action is required
This computer has both a display port monitor attached and a card in PCI-express slot 1. This configuration is not supported. Please remove the PCI-Express card or disconnect the display port monitor.”
When I connect the system with normal display LCD using VGA, it works fine.
Please help.

I would also like to add few things which is based on my experience while I was learning system administration (Windows Server 2012).
This is how I proceeded:
1. Acquired training from Microsoft certified instructor
2. Followed Mark Minasi’s book
3. Practiced a lot and when stuck, asked for help from 4sysops forums
4. Appeared for exam certifications
5. Tried and learnt by helping other users on different forums like Technet

Hi Anil,
I don’t have too much experience with web development and hosting but have an idea about Apache, IIS and ASP.NET. After Googling, I found you can use Kestrel web server to serve .NET core applications with reverse proxy (apache, IIS, or Nginx) 🙂 🙂
