The new remote help tool for Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager allows you to connect to user devices using Intune role-based access controls (RBAC). In this post, I share my experiences with Remote Help.

If you received the error message “Windows 10 Enterprise subscription is not valid,” this post will show you how to troubleshoot subscription-based activation issues on Windows 10 and Windows 11 for Azure AD joined devices. I’ve run into this issue a couple of times now; it only shows up 30 days after adding a second work account on an Azure AD joined device.

Using Microsoft Intune to perform Windows feature updates works well. In the last year, reporting, and additional status information have been added, which has added a great deal of control. However, in many scenarios, we need to fix that one application or uninstall a new built-in app that Security wants removed. The scenarios are endless.

Deploy a Windows 10 multi-app kiosk with Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager (MEMCM) and PowerShell 2 years, 5 months ago
Hi,
It have to be run in System context, that is the only way to use the WMI MDM Bridge in Powershell. When I wrote it and tested it out I used PSexec.exe to run it in System context which works just great.

Hi,
Are you executing the script in System Context? I will doublecheck if there are any copy/paste errors as well.

Hi,
Last time i checked there is no easy way of reverting from a MulitApp Kiosk.. If you use Assigned access and single app then it is possible using PowerShell

This post will cover how to create a maintainable Windows 10 multi-app kiosk with PowerShell and Configuration Manager and a PowerShell script that I wrote. I wrote a blog post here a couple of years ago about deploying Windows 10 1809 in kiosk mode with an AD domain account. Much has happened since then.

Back in January 2019 I wrote a post on how Application approval in Configuration Manager 1810 was a game changer, which it truly is! Some things were still early then, but let’s look at what’s new in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 1906 when it comes to instant application delivery using application requests. And yes, it has a new name in the admin console.

Application approval in the latest version of Configuration Manager 1806/1810 has gotten a lot of love! It’s one of the biggest changes to application deployment in many years. It still needs some finishing touches, but it’s well worth it to try it out and start using it.

Hi,
The command requires that you point to an installation of the running Windows 10 os and C: is the root path, so it will place it in the correct location based on that and work on the PC you run it on.

Jörgen Nilsson commented on Windows 10 1809 kiosk mode with an AD domain account 4 years, 4 months ago
Hi,
Yes, it is a bit of a hack but as there is no other way to configure it to use Assigned Access/Kiosk using a domain account except for MDM not many options. As I wrote I recommend that you test it through Intune but evenryone cannot use Intune yet for different reasons.

One of the great new features in Windows 10 1809 is that Microsoft Edge now supports kiosk mode. It is extremely easy to configure and long awaited, so we don’t have to use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome for our kiosk computers.
