Hi Michael,
recently I have noticed a weird thing in mail notifications for comments. The text “there is new comment on post…” is now shown twice, the later one is with really big letters. One has to scroll a lot to get the actual message.
Im pretty sure the second one was not there before.
Cheers

Roger, I just checked. You are subscribed to the Community Forum. The unsubscribe link is at the top the forum.
Leos, can you open the mail with another app on a desktop? What do you see?

Same thing. The Subject is repeated in the text.

These are the subscriptions from the PowerShell group and they are supposed to look like this. Those subscriptions didn’t work for some time and I fixed it a couple of days agao. So I guess you just forgot how they looked like before.

Its a blog post comment… Not from Powerhsell group. Here a picture of a blog post comment notification from 27.8. See the font has normal size, not large as now.
Its no big deal, just looks weird a bit… 🙂

Everything that is about PowerShell is included in the PowerShell group. This also includes blog comments. Your last screenshot is from a blog post comment subscription which is a different thing.

Active Directory 2008 R2 upgrade to Windows Server 2019 checklist
This is a Powershell group topic? (its the first picture)

Ah you are right, it’s not. The first email came from the new blog comment subscription plugin which just has a different format than the old one. I had to switch plugins because the old one was no longer working. So everything is alright.

I see. I have checked a mail from today, its from Powershell group – see the format is a bit weird. There are ][ chars there.

Yeah, looks a bit weird. I suppose the plugin author is a markdown fan. That way, you see the entire URL before you click it. Probably helps with security.

This whole thing is a bit weird 😀 the [commented] and on [Adding and removing keyboard languages with PowerShell] part 🙂
Zakhar [commented](https://4sysops.com/archives/adding-and-removing-keyboard-languages-with-powershell/#comment-933544) on [Adding and removing keyboard languages with PowerShell](https://4sysops.com/archives/adding-and-removing-keyboard-languages-with-powershell/):
Enjoy the weekend!

Well, many of the DevOps guys love markdown. Makes text look more geeky, I guess. 😉
Wish you a great weekend as well!

Michael,
there was a new comment at https://4sysops.com/archives/use-powershell-to-test-if-a-windows-server-is-pending-a-reboot/comment-page-1/#comment-933601 right now and I got 2 mail notifications. First has the format with the big letters, the second one has the markdown format 😀
Should we get 2 notifications?
