      You probably heard that you can now download the Windows 8.1 Preview update. The MSU file is available here. However, if you click “download the Windows 8.1 Preview ISO files” on this page, you will be disappointed. Microsoft doesn’t offer the ISO files for the public yet.

      However, if you have a Technet or an MSDN subscription you can download the 3.5GB ISO file thereIf you prefer a clean install then you might prefer to install Windows 8.1. from DVD. The ISO files are available as 32-bit and 64-bit version. You can choose between English and multiple languages.

      By the way, be careful when you download the MSU file. Don’t tell your browser to open the file if you don’t want to update the PC from which you are downloading.
