Apart from troubleshooting device driver problems, you can use the tool to get rid of unused drivers, for example, if you need more disk space on the system drive. Sometimes old drivers also interfere with the system.
Fun toy. I’d love to see a list of all the drivers files on the machine that are NOT used. Sometimes a bad driver sits there in the image waiting to get picked up or an inf is in Windows\inf pointing to a location that no longer exists. Be nice to track those down and wipe em.
