First, navigate to Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center and choose Apps > Add. Note the options below in the screenshot. You can add apps by platform. There is also a policy section that allows configuring various app-specific settings.
There are many types of applications you can deploy. When you click Select app type, you will see the extensive list of application types for installation.
Let's quickly step through deploying Microsoft 365 apps. To deploy the Office apps to your Intune-enrolled workstations, select the Microsoft 365 apps for Windows 10 and later option. Note the defaults on the App suite information screen.
Next, configure the app suite information, including the Office apps you want to install, the update channel, version, activation, language, and other settings.
In the next step, you assign the application to the group to which you want to deploy the app.
Finally, check the settings and create the app deployment using Microsoft Intune.
Microsoft Intune provides organizations with many management tools, effectively allowing migration from legacy on-premises management in many cases to the cloud-based management provided by the Endpoint Manager.
