		<description>Jon, thanks a lot for the hint. It seems that Elasticfox only supports basic EC2 management though. Nevertheless, launching new instances is probably more convenient. Perhaps there will be more powerful management tools from third parties in the future.</description>

		<description>There&#039;s a firefox extension called Elasticfox which can be used to setup and manage all of this for you.   I was able to get a Windows / SQL setup installed fairly quickly.</description>

		<description>Christopher, I think Amazon&#039;s coders are Linux geeks. That explains the fact that they prefer a CLI. I somehow think it will be difficult this way to attract Windows admins. I guess Microsoft&#039;s user interface will look different once they enter this market.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s good to hear of your experience with this.  It sure sounds like they could have accomplished the setup tasks with a simple web interface.  That&#039;s what happens when you let coders design an interface.</description>
