		<description>I think they originally planned to synchronize the user profile to multiple clients. At least the old reviewer&#039;s guide reads like this. But the term &quot;background upload&quot; in the Group Policy setting supports your view.</description>

If I am not mistaken, the background upload is one way only (client to file server). So this is rather a method of backing up a user&#039;s registry data than a synchronization mechanism between multiple running session.
