- I moved from Firefox to Chrome because of stability and security reasons. Quite content so far. All add-ons I need are available.

Beware of the Google candy…
Will never use Chrome or anything else Google. They track and store every detail about you…Why do you think they give Android away for free?…
Is there supposed to be a link to a story with the bullet saying you like Chrome? I don’t see it.
I tried Chrome, briefly, and my first impression is I don’t like the UI. I’ll be giving it a second chance. I “need” some very specific FireFox add-ons that I don’t expect to see in Chrome, ie “PlainOldFavorites” or something that allows me to use IE favorites from within FF/Chrome is “absolutely” necessary.
Have you checked out this amazing addon for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/67651
Dantv, yeah Google stores a lot. But they say the same of Microsoft and Apple. And did you know that Google sponsors Mozilla?
anonymous, there are many great Firefox add-ons, but Chrome is catching up rapidly. I am just so tired of this “Not Responding” in the Firefox title bar.
Ron, there is no link because the story is about me.
I prefer the Chrome UI mostly because it is more economical with screen space for browser controls. The plugins I needed for Firefox were also my main reason why I didn’t switch earlier. But it is amazing how many good plugins are already available for Chrome. Besides, the plugin API seems to be better. Plugins can be installed and uninstalled without restart and so far no Chrome extension made the browser unstable.
