PropertiesPlus: Modify attributes of multiple files
By Michael Pietroforte | 1 Comment | Permalink | Trackback | Previous | NextPropertiesPlus is a simple, free tool that integrates itself in the Windows Explorer. It allows you to modify file attributes, extensions and time stamps of multiple files with an easy-to-use GUI. You start PropertiesPlus from a folder’s context menu in the Windows Explorer. The tool can be configured to perform changes on all subfolders of its selected directory. It seems that its programmer has stopped developing it since it’s not on his homepage. You can download PropertiesPlus from several sites, though.

Hi Michael! I came across PropertiesPlus because I have multiple audio files that I want to modify. I use an MP3 player to listen to books, and many times the track information, as burned on the CD before ripping is only sequenced for the individual CD itself. When you rip and transport these files to an MP3 device, they don’t always sinc-up, so the play list is shuffled strangely.
I think your program is really great, and I was just wondering if you might make any modifications in the future? I would really be happy seeing the “Track” information for audio files modifiable, so I could do something like re-file them from say, Track 01 to Track 56. Right now I have to do it manually.
Cheers!
Michael
