It seems that Ed Bott has a new hobby. What will Windows Vista cost? Yesterday, he found the Windows Vista prices on the Canadian Microsoft site, today he offers another interesting source: Amazon. What’s even more interesting is the fact that Amazon is planning to start selling Windows Vista on 30th of January.
The prices differ from these two sources, though. According to Amazon Windows Vista Business costs $299 and Windows Vista Ultimate
$399. Well, that is not really cheap. I’ve been playing with Vista for a while now. It is really a nice OS, but in my view at that price, it’s definitely too expensive. I wonder, how many will really pay this and how many will just get a cracked copy.
