The article you’ve referred to says specifically that they expect the price of Surface to be /above/ $599, and that’s for RT. The Intel model, the only one worth considering IMO, is expected to be /above/ $799.
Thanks! “Worth considering is a relative term”. For instance, in my view the iPad is not worth considering.
