I have the same file. The signature is only displayed if you check the file on a Vista computer. Under Windows Server 2003 it doesn’t show. That’s why I didn’t see it at first.

I’ve got a file called “Windows6.0-KB936330-X86.exe” with a valid Authenticode Signature, dated January 19th. Size is 455′562′200 bytes.

The contained files also have authenticode signatures and the build number matches.

Lukas, what self extracting files do you mean? I downloaded only one and it is not digitally signed.

The Self Extracting Exe Files are also digitally signed by Microsoft. Which, IMHO, is better than a md5sum.

But still, having resort to BT to get SP1 just shows bad planning on Microsofts part.
