Gadwin PrintScreen: a free screenshot tool for Windows
By Michael Pietroforte | No Comments | Permalink | Trackback | Previous | NextThere certainly are more professional screenshot programs than Gadwin PrintScreen 3.1. The most famous one, probably, is Snagit. If you have to create screenshots only, every now and then, buying software for this purpose might not make much sense. Gadwin PrintScreen has all important features and it is freeware.
It lets you configure a hot key to start the capture process. You can capture the current Window, the Client Window, the full screen or a rectangular area and it supports all important graphics formats as output.
There is only one feature that I miss sometimes. Gadwin PrintScreen doesn’t support to mark up the screenshots with annotations. If you need this feature sometimes, you can use a graphics tools for that.
Ah, another missing feature; you can’t use the tool to capture a screenshot of itself. But, I guess you won’t need this feature too often.
