I've been using UBCD since they came out with it in the "DOS" OS. The GUI dramatically increased the capabilities. Nice review - however, one small point. The author uses BartPE and not Windows PE. While I'm not related or even know the author, I believe credit should be given where it's due.

Windows PE is not freeware and cannot be distributed freely as BartPE.

The notes pages are not the blessings of MS but rather the intimidation tactics used by the company since their creation. The original name was Windows Ultimate Boot CD. However, since "Windows" is copyrighted, the author renamed the project (on MS recommendation) to Ultimate Boot CD for Win. WinBootCD, according to MS, implied the project was created by MS rather than a third party software for Windows.

I'm not anti-MS. Their products keeps me fully employed as a geek.

Thanks
