		<description>Great call. I always think of this as an end-user tool, but obviously it&#039;s a great tool for admins as well. And as an earlier commenter noted, CCleaner does give you the option of a Registry backup.</description>

		<description>I use this program all the time when users at work complain that their machines run a bit slow. I have it setup to store its settings in an INI file and then publish it out on a share. I do this so that I can un-tick some of the cleaner options (recent documents and such, users seem to freak out when their recent document list dissapears). I love the fact that it does not require an install and that settings can be stored locally. I&#039;ve been using this since version 1.(something) and its always been fantastic!</description>

		<description>When you use the registry cleaning function, you are asked if you want to backup changes to the registry, which saves a .reg file for you.
Having said that, I&#039;ve never had problems using the registry cleaning feature on any of my XP machines.</description>
