works wonderfully out of the box with Windows 7 and actually processes the folder size layout faster than foldersizeshell utility. Lots of other googdies too. Almost too many but I’ll deal.

Yes, I too have been installing this first thing on every computer for many years. Now I have Windows 7 and am crying without fileSizeShell. :’( *sniff*

I Will post back if I find an alternative — when I get myself together. *sniff sniff*

please make this work on windows x64 platform …. i have been using this since almost 7 years not that i am shifting to windows 7 x64 which is amazingly good but i cannot use this software

Folder size will never work on Vista and later. That’s the saddest part.

I have used Folder Shell Extension for about 5 years and really like having the ability to easily see how large various folders and subfolders are.
I have recently converted the Windows XP Pro X64 Bit and Folder Shell Extension no longer works (:!
Is there something I need to do differently? Are there any plans to update the program to run on 64 bit OS?
